Region of Rorschach—Urban Vision Feeder Road A1
With the new highway connection, the region will gain direct access to the national highway network in the Sulzstrasse area. This significantly improves the locational advantages of key parts of Goldach, Rorschacherberg, and Rorschach. At the same time, the settlement development potential is high in the area, which is very well connected by public transport and integrated into the existing settlement.
The regional future vision shows how these opportunities can be leveraged to create a new urban neighborhood. The current gap between the municipalities will be closed, and a fine-grained street and open space system will form the basis for robust neighborhood development between the Goldach and city stations.
